Interior and exterior painting using JOTUN — the only paint system specifically formulated for Dubai's extreme heat, UV radiation, and humidity. With colour consultancy, surface preparation, and a finish that holds.
Dubai's climate creates a performance requirement for paint that most homeowners don't initially factor into a project. External surfaces face temperatures above 50°C, UV radiation far more intense than European standards, fine sand abrasion, and rapid humidity shifts. Interior surfaces face a different challenge: thermal cycling between cooled interior air and warmer air around windows and doors drives paint adhesion failure and hairline cracking over time.
We use JOTUN exclusively — across all projects, all scopes, and all surface types. JOTUN's UAE-specific product lines are engineered and tested for this climate. A budget or generic paint product may look identical on day one and fail within 18 months. Our fixed-price contracts with a 12-month warranty are only possible because we control the material quality from the start.
Exterior painting in Dubai is predominantly a preparation job. The quality of the finished result is determined by what happens before the first coat of paint goes on. This is where lower-quality painters cut time — and where the failure appears within a year.
Best timing for exterior painting in Dubai: November through March. We advise against exterior painting in peak summer months — not because it is impossible, but because material performance is measurably compromised above 40°C ambient temperature.
Every Agora Technical painting project includes a colour consultation. We do not hand you a JOTUN colour deck and leave the decision entirely to you. We advise based on your space, light conditions, existing floor and furniture tones, and the design intention of the room.
This ratio produces a balanced, cohesive interior without feeling flat or over-designed. We also use JOTUN's digital colour matching system to replicate existing paint colours precisely — critical for partial repaints or touch-up work where new sections must match existing finishes.

JOTUN operates a dedicated UAE product development and testing programme. Their exterior systems are specifically formulated for high UV exposure, sand abrasion, and the thermal cycling Dubai buildings experience. Their interior ranges include low-VOC options safe for occupied homes. We have consistent, predictable results with JOTUN products — which is what a fixed-price warranty requires. We cannot offer a 12-month warranty if we use variable or unknown materials. We do not accept client requests to substitute cheaper paint brands.
A studio or 1-bedroom apartment repaint (walls and ceilings, no woodwork) takes 2–3 days. A 2-bedroom apartment takes 3–5 days. Villas take 5–10 working days for a full interior. These timelines assume a surface in good condition. Crack repair, extensive filling, or mould remediation adds preparation days before painting begins — we quote this separately at the site visit.
Yes — we use JOTUN's digital colour matching system to replicate existing paint colours for partial repaints and touch-up work. For best results in occupied spaces, we recommend a test patch on the actual wall surface before full application, as lighting conditions and the age of the existing paint can affect how a matched colour reads in the finished room. We do not charge for the test patch.
For a full apartment repaint, we recommend vacating for the duration — paint fumes, dust from surface preparation, and the need to mask and move furniture room by room make occupation impractical and uncomfortable. For partial repaints (one room, one wall), we can work around your occupancy with proper masking and room-by-room staging. We use JOTUN Sens (low-VOC) where clients request minimal odour, though full ventilation is still required during and after application.
Yes — we handle villa exterior repaints including facade walls, boundary walls, garden structures, and balcony surfaces. For multi-storey buildings, we work with certified rope-access or scaffolding teams depending on access requirements and building management regulations. All exterior facade work uses JOTUN Jotashield Extreme or equivalent rated exterior system. Scheduling is subject to season — we do not recommend exterior facade work between June and September.
